Deposit Guarantee Fund liquidates Porto-Franco bank

The Deposit Guarantee Fund has completed liquidation of JSB Porto-Franco, according to the Fund’s press service.
The Fund stated that in line with Article 53 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Deposit Guarantee System,” on October 18, 2019, relevant documents were submitted to the United State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Organizations to register the termination of JSB Porto-Franco as a legal entity, thus, the process of liquidation of the bank is complete.
As Ukrinform reported, the Deposit Guarantee Fund on October 17 completed payments to the depositors of JSB Porto-Franco. The National Bank of Ukraine on January 30, 2015 decided to revoke a banking license of JSB Porto-Franco.
