Deposit Guarantee Fund returns UAH 47 mln to bankrupt banks' depositors in September

The Deposit Guarantee Fund paid off almost UAH 47.3 million to depositors of insolvent banks in September 2019, according to the Fund’s press service.
“In September 2019, almost UAH 47.3 million was paid off to depositors of insolvent banks within the limits of the guaranteed compensation," reads the report.
As of October 1, 2019, the total sum of guaranteed refunds paid to the depositors of insolvent banks, transferred to the management of the Fund in line with the Law of Ukraine “On the system of guaranteeing deposits of individuals” (as of February 26, 2012), within the limits of the guaranteed compensation, reached UAH 89.6316 billion
As of October 1, 2019, the total amount of funds accumulated by the Fund made up UAH 8.350 billion.
