Over 680 buildings in Ukraine get energy efficiency certificates

Some 685 buildings in Ukraine have already received energy efficiency certificates, which serve as one of the incentives for increasing their energy efficiency, according to the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving.
“Over 680 buildings in Ukraine have received energy efficiency certificates, in particular: 187 residential buildings; 185 municipal buildings; 150 educational institutions; 113 hospitals; 42 kindergartens; 5 trade enterprises; 3 hotels,” reads the report.
The energy certification helps clearly define the energy efficiency class of buildings, obtain information on the energy consumption of buildings and the need for introducing energy efficient measures for them.
As Ukrinform reported, energy certification is carried out only by certified energy auditors, which are listed on the State Energy Efficiency website.
