Energy Ministry intends to develop new gas production strategy

The Energy and Coal Industry Ministry, which is being transformed into the Ministry of Energy and Environmental Protection, intends to develop a new gas production strategy until 2025.
Head of the oil and gas expert group of the Ministry’s Directorate of Fossil Fuel Sources Olena Chaikovska, stated this at the Ukrainian Gas Forum, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"The Ministry is ready to develop a gas production strategy until 2025, we sent out invitations to stakeholders. The working group has not yet begun to work," she said.
As Ukrinform reported, Ukrgasvydobuvannya in 2018 decreased gas production by 1 billion cubic meters - 15.5 billion instead of 16.5 billion.
