Zelensky: Ukraine and Slovakia are reliable gas transit countries

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has assured that Ukraine and Slovakia will make every effort to ensure uninterrupted gas supply to Europe.
"Ukraine and Slovakia are reliable [countries] for transiting gas to Europe and we will make every effort to ensure uninterrupted gas supply to the European market," Zelensky said at a joint press conference with President of the Slovak Republic Zuzana Čaputová, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
As reported, the European Commission has confirmed that the talks between the European Commission, Ukraine and Russia on the transit of Russian gas to European consumers across the territory of Ukraine will take place on Thursday, September 19.
