Revenues of state budget’s general fund grow 7.7% - Finance Ministry
"In January-August 2019, revenues of the general fund of the state budget over the eight months grew by 7.7% year-over-year, up to UAH 594.1 billion, which is 95.1% of the plan,” reads the report.
In particular, revenues from VAT on manufactured goods in Ukraine amounted to UAH 51.7 billion and made up 86.5% of the plan due to higher VAT refunds to exporters. Revenues from the subsoil rent reached UAH 28.9 billion, which is 23.0% higher year-over-year. VAT revenues from goods imported into Ukraine increased by 1.6% year-over-year, up to UAH 184.9 billion. Revenues from the income from part of net income and dividends amounted to UAH 32.3 billion, which is 80.4% of the plan and excise tax revenues from excise goods produced in Ukraine reached UAH 38.5, which is 78.8% of the plan.
As to expenditures, the general fund’s expenditures made up UAH 599.2 billion, accounting for 91.4% of the plan.
The deficit of the budget’s general fund over the reporting period amounted to UAH 2.9 billion. Proceeds from privatization remained low at UAH 369.1 million, which is 2.2% of the annual plan.
