State Fiscal Service: 596,000 Ukrainians declare over UAH 95 bln in revenue last year

“In total, over 596,000 Ukrainian citizens have filed income declarations on property and income since the beginning of the year, declaring income for a total sum of UAH 94.4 billion for 2018. Citizens independently determined to pay about UAH 3.4 billion in personal income tax and about UAH 485 million in military fees," the report says.

It is noted that the figures grew significantly compared to the previous year. The largest share belongs to the declared foreign income - UAH 18.8 billion, which is UAH 11.2 billion more than in the previous year.

The increase was recorded in all types of income as compared with the previous year.

In particular, Ukrainian citizens declared UAH 15.6 billion in revenue from other taxable income, UAH 7.5 billion in revenue from inheritance and gifts, UAH 6.1 billion in revenue from the sale of movable and immovable property, UAH 2.3 billion in revenue from the lease of property and UAH 2.0 billion in revenue from investment income,” reads the report.

In addition, during the 2019 declaration campaign, two residents of Kyiv city declared UAH 1 billion in revenue received outside Ukraine in 2018.
