Revenues from Mykolaiv Customs Office transferred to budget grow by over 12%

In January-August 2019, the Mykolaiv Customs Office transferred UAH 2.8 billion in revenues to the budget, which is 12.7% more compared with the relevant period last year, according to the customs office’s press service.

An Ukrinform correspondent learnt this from the press service of the Mykolaiv Customs Office.

“The total amount of budgetary receipts from the Mykolaiv Customs Office of the State Fiscal Service in January-August 2019 made up UAH 2,837.5 million, which is 12.7% or UAH 320.6 million more than in the same period in 2018,” reads the report.

Such results were achieved due to an increase in the volume of imported goods of taxed imports in the customs area by 342.8 thousand tonnes or by 60%. At the same time, the value of such goods grew by UAH 2.5 billion, or by 23.9%.
