NBU transfers to national budget UAH 64.9 bln in net profit for 2018

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) transferred to the national budget the entire amount of profit before distribution, set up in the Consolidated Financial Statements of the National Bank for 2018, according to the central bank’s press service.
"In 2019, the National Bank transferred UAH 64,898 million to the state budget of Ukraine - the entire amount of the profit before distribution, which is defined in the Consolidated Financial Statements of the National Bank for 2018," the statement reads.
The National Bank noted that this is UAH 17.3 billion more than stipulated by the Law on the State Budget of Ukraine for 2019.
As reported, the NBU transferred UAH 44.6 billion to the state budget in 2018.
