Ukrinform
The minimum wage in Ukraine has tripled over the past three years and now amounts to UAH 4,173, Social Policy Minister of Ukraine Andriy Reva has stated.

He said this during a press conference on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Thanks to the laws developed and adopted over the past three years, the minimum wage in Ukraine has increased three times, not three percent, but three times. Today it amounts to UAH 4,173 per month," Reva said.

According to him, the growth of the minimum wage led to an increase in the average monthly wage in Ukraine.

"In 2016-2019, the average salary in Ukraine doubled. In the first half of 2019, it amounted to UAH 10,027 per month," the minister noted.
