President of the Antalya Chamber of Industry and Commerce Davut Çetin said this at a meeting with Ukrainian Consul in Antalya Vyacheslav Khomenko, the Consulate posted on Facebook.
“Currently, more than 130 companies registered in Antalya are owned or co-owned by Ukrainians. Val-et and Bayadera Group are highlighted among the positive examples of the work of Ukrainian enterprises,” the statement reads.
The parties also discussed the in-depth cooperation at the interregional level, the launch of direct flights between Antalya and Ukrainian cities, assistance in direct bilateral contacts between Turkish and Ukrainian business people, the possibility of holding the Days of Ukraine in Antalya in order to fully familiarize the region with Ukrainian achievements, culture, traditions, cuisine, and the like.
For the four months of 2019, the tourist flow from Ukraine to Turkey increased by 13.8% compared to the same period in 2018.
