Ukrainians account for 75% of labor migrants who legally work in Poland, the Polish Radio reports.

According to Poland’s Social Insurance Institution (ZUS), the number of legal labor migrants has increased in Poland. Currently, 644,000 people legally work in the country, including 483,000 Ukrainians.

“Of course, the majority are the citizens of Ukraine. The next national group – the citizens of Belarus – is more than ten times smaller. There about 38,000 of them. Next come Georgians - about 9.5 thousand, and then the citizens of Moldova and Russia - over 8 thousand," ZUS spokesman Wojciech Andrusiewicz said.

“The areas that require Ukrainian workers most are industrial, construction and transport and logistics sectors,” added labor market expert Andrzej Kubisiak.
