Ukraine imports 275 mln kWh of electricity from three countries in July

In July 2019, Ukraine’s imports of electricity made up 275 million kWh, while exports reached almost 492 million kWh, according to the press service of State Enterprise NPC Ukrenergo.

"In particular, over 171 million kWh was imported into the Burshtynskaya TPP Island, of which 151.093 million kWh came from Slovakia and 19.943 million kWh from Hungary,” reads the report.

Also, there were import deliveries from Belarus. Their total volume made up 103.584 million kWh.

At the same time, the total electricity exports from Ukraine in July amounted to 491.764 million kWh, including 347.033 million kWh from the Burshtynskaya TPP Island to the EU countries (Hungary, Slovakia, Romania), 96.803 million kWh to Poland and 47.928 million kWh to Moldova.
