Early grain crop harvesting almost completed

As of August 16, Ukrainian farmers harvested early grains and grain legumes from an area of 9.8 million hectares.
"As of August 16, Ukrainian farmers harvested 38.5 million tonnes of early grains and grain legumes from an area of 9.8 million hectares, or 99% of the target," the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reports.
In particular, Ukrainian farmers harvested 28.2 million tonnes of wheat from an area of 6.7 million hectares (99%); 9.0 million tonnes of barley from 2.59 million hectares (91%); 318,000 tonnes of rye from 115,000 hectares (98%); 384,000 tonnes of oats from 155,000 hectares (85%); 583,000 tonnes of peas from 257,000 hectares (100%).
Also, 3.1 million tonnes of rape were threshed from an area of 1.25 million hectares (98%).
