Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry prepares energy memorandum with Poland

“We discuss the gas issues with the Poles and the Americans right now, before the visit [of President Zelensky]to Poland in early September. We are preparing an energy memorandum which will lay the foundation for further actions at the bilateral and trilateral level and will determine the cooperation algorithm," Ukraine’s Deputy Foreign Minister for European Integration Olena Zerkal said in an interview with BBC News Ukraine.

She noted that the directives were elaborated taking into account the adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to the EU legislation and the establishment of a properly functioning gas market in Ukraine.
