Cabinet approves draft agreement on financing of nuclear safety cooperation

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the draft agreement on the financing of an annual action plan on nuclear safety cooperation between the Government of Ukraine and the European Commission.
"On August 14, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the draft agreement on the financing of an annual action plan on nuclear safety cooperation between the Government of Ukraine and the European Commission," the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine reports.
Pursuant to the agreement, the European Union will fund the project “Safe management of spent nuclear fuel and radioactive waste, Component A” with a budget of EUR 5.7 million.
