Deputy Director of the National Scientific Center "Institute of Agrarian Economics" Mykola Puhachov announced this, according to the IAE’s press service.

"According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, exports of agricultural products in January-June 2019 increased by almost 20% compared to the same period in 2018 and amounted to USD 10.3 billion. Following the results of six months of 2019, the share of agricultural exports in the total export of Ukraine was almost 42%,” Puhachov said.

He noted that in the first half of 2019, the countries of Asia, Africa, the European Union and the CIS remained the main sales markets for Ukrainian agricultural products.

Grain crops, oil and oilseeds, residues and waste, as well as meat products, were among the main goods for Ukrainian agricultural exports.
