Danylyuk invites American business to elaborate Ukraine’s national security strategy
“Who else but business people know what the economy needs. Your opinion is important,” Danylyuk said at a roundtable meeting with representatives of member companies of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, the press service of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine reports.
He noted that the new power aims for the broadest involvement of business circles in the formation and implementation of state policy. According to him, a favourable business climate is a prerequisite for the progressive development of the domestic economy. "We must strengthen the mechanisms for the protection of property rights, protection of investments. The recent presidential decree on counteraction to raider attacks was approved to reach these goals. We are committed to radical changes," the NSDC secretary said.
Danylyuk also noted that the issues of energy security, in particular, gas supply are among the priorities. He stressed that Ukraine is interested in the continuation of gas transit pursuant to the European rules.
