Ukraine imports almost 111,000 tonnes of palm oil in H1 2019

In January-June 2019, 110,900 tonnes of palm oil was imported to Ukraine, mostly from Indonesia and Malaysia, according to the customs statistical report released by Ukraine’s State Fiscal Service.

“From January to June 2019, Ukraine imported 110.91 thousand tonnes of palm oil for a total sum of USD 72.806 million. Indonesia traditionally became the main importer, with deliveries of palm oil worth USD 58.288 million. Also, Malaysia imported palm oil to Ukraine for a total sum of USD 13.348 million and Sweden - for a total sum of USD 537 thousand.

At the same time, in the first half of 2019, Ukraine exported 4.788 tonnes of palm oil for a total sum of USD 2.9664 million. Palm oil was exported mainly to Georgia – for a total sum of USD 2.724 million, to Serbia - USD 104 thousand, and to the Republic of Moldova - USD 66 thousand.
