Ukraine’s gas reserves in underground storage facilities exceed 14 bcm

As of July 8, Ukraine pumped 14.05 billion cubic meters of natural gas into its underground gas storage facilities, the press service of JSC Ukrtransgaz has reported on Facebook.
“As of today’s morning [July 8], Ukraine already accumulated 14.05 billion cubic meters of natural gas in its underground gas storage facilities, which is 21% or 2.4 billion more compared with the relevant period last year,” reads the report.
According to Ukrtransgaz, the average daily pumping made up 70 million cubic meters since the beginning of summer.
As reported, NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine plans to accumulate about 20 billion cubic meters of gas to ensure the stable heating season of 2019-2020.
