UAH 8 bln invested in Ukraine’s energy efficiency measures – Savchuk
Chairman of the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving Serhiy Savchuk said this at a press conference, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“From the end of 2014 to 2019, the warm loan program has allowed investing UAH 8 billion in the insulation of buildings. Of these funds, the government reimbursed UAH 2.5 billion,” he said.
At the same time, according to him, about UAH 1 billion has been attracted for energy efficient measures since the start of the current year.
"In addition, 1,020 apartment building co-owner associations attracted investments totaling more than UAH 332 million. The demand for insulation is growing rapidly among such associations. Only in 2018, loans for 1,604 apartment building co-owner associations were attracted, while as of July 1, 2019, there are already 1,020 apartment building co-owner associations," Savchuk added.
