State budget’s revenues grow almost 13% in H1 2019 - Finance Ministry

In January-June 2019, revenues of the state budget grew by 12.9% to UAH 506.8 billion, according to the Finance Ministry.

"The first half of 2019 has already passed. Now we are talking about key budget indicators for this period. The state budget revenues during this period grew by 12.9% year-over-year, to UAH 506.8 billion," the report says.

In H1 of 2019, the plan for state budget’s revenues was fulfilled by 95.7%.

Revenues of the general fund of the state budget grew by 9.5%, to UAH 448.3 billion (94.1% of the plan).

Revenues from individual income tax grew by 21.1%, to UAH 51.2 billion, over the period due to a significant increase in average wage (104.8% of the plan). According to the data provided by the State Statistics Service, the average monthly salary rose by 20.1% in January-May 2019 compared to the same period last year due to an increase in minimum wage, improvement of financial results of enterprises and lack of skilled labor (in particular due to migration), which makes employers raise salaries.
