Ukraine increases exports to Canada by almost 50% in Q1 2019

In the first quarter of 2019, exports of Ukrainian goods and services to Canada amounted to $41.9 million, which is 48.8% more compared with the relevant period in 2018.

The press service of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry wrote this on Twitter.

"In Q1, 2019, Ukraine exported goods and services worth $41.9 million to Canada, which is 48.8% more compared with the relevant period in 2018,” reads the report.

In particular, over the reporting period, Ukraine’s exports of goods to Canada made up $27.2 million, an increase of 62.4% from Q1, 2019. The structure of Ukraine’s exports of goods is as follows: products after processing vegetables - 28.7% of the total volume, copper and articles thereof - 17.1%, ferrous metals - 12.6%, tanning extracts - 8.2%, nuclear reactors and boilers - 4.7%.
