Deposit Guarantee Fund extends liquidation of Ukrainian Professional Bank

The Deposit Guarantee Fund of Ukraine has extended the term of liquidation JSC Ukrainian Professional Bank (UPB) for one year, the Fund’s press service has reported.
“The Executive Directorate of the Deposit Guarantee Fund approved a decision as of July 1, 2019, No.1640, to extend the term of liquidation of JSC Ukrainian Professional Bank for one year, from August 31, 2019 until August 30, 2020, inclusive,” reads the report.
As Ukrinform reported, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) in August 2015 decided to revoke a banking license and liquidate JSC Ukrainian Professional Bank.
