The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will continue to cooperate with Ukraine regardless of the parliamentary campaign and formation of a new government in the state.

Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities of Ukraine Hennadiy Zubko informed this on Twitter on the results of a meeting with EBRD Vice President Pierre Heilbronn and EBRD Managing Director for Eastern Europe and the Caucasus Matteo Patrone in Toronto.

"I had a meeting with Vice President of the EBRD Pierre Heilbronn and Managing Director for Eastern Europe and the Caucasus Matteo Patrone. Regardless the parliamentary campaign and formation of a new Government in Ukraine as well as a new EU Commission, we’ll continue our cooperation. We plan to implement a lot of new projects in the municipal sector and private sector, to support energy efficiency projects," Zubko wrote.

As known, the third Ukraine Reform Conference is held in Toronto on July 2-4. Zubko presents the results of the reforms on decentralization and energy efficiency.

The conference is an opportunity for Ukraine and its international partners to gather and reflect on the country's achievements and reform challenges as well as to demonstrate shared commitments to support Ukraine in its democratic reform agenda.
