Ukraine produced over 2.7 mln tonnes of coal in June

In June 2019, Ukraine produced over 2.7 million tonnes of coal, which is 8% more than planned.
This was reported by the Coal Miners Union of Ukraine with a reference to the data provided by the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry.
"In June 2019, coal mining enterprises of Ukraine of all forms of ownership produced 2,743,300 tonnes of coal. The plan was fulfilled by 92%," reads the report.
In particular, the mines subordinated to the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry produced 247,848 tonnes of coal, which makes up 67% of the plan, or 124,352 tonnes less than the target plan.
