Ukraine increases exports of goods by 6% – Economic Development Ministry

In January-April 2019, Ukraine exported goods worth USD 16.3 billion, which is 6% more than in the same period of 2018.

The press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine reported this on its Facebook page.

"Ukraine in January-April 2019 exported goods worth USD 16.3 billion, which is 6.0% more compared to the same period of last year," the report says.

During four months of this year, Ukraine exported plant products worth USD 3.9 billion, base metals and their products – USD 3.6 billion, vegetable and animal oils and fats – USD 1.5 billion, mineral products – USD 1.5 billion.

In general, Ukraine in January-April 2019 exported goods to 208 countries. The largest share in the total exports of goods accounted for the European Union market - 42.4% (USD 6.9 billion).
