The Head of State underscored that Ukraine is committed to the strengthening of cooperation with the EBRD, the press service of the Head of State reports.

Volodymyr Zelensky also thanked EBRD President Suma Chakrabarti for the fact that the EBRD remains the largest institutional investor in Ukraine and assured of willingness to develop cooperation.

"Thank you for being here and thank you for being the largest investor in Ukraine. I want to assure you that we will increase our cooperation," the President said.

He added that the EBRD strategy fully met the priorities of Ukraine, and expressed the conviction that Ukraine and the Bank could work together more efficiently. According to the Head of State, Ukraine appreciates cooperation with international partners - the EBRD, the World Bank and the IMF.

The President recalled that he had already met with representatives of the IMF, which noted the progress of Ukraine in fulfilling its obligations under the Stand-By Arrangement. According to Volodymyr Zelensky, the issue of continuation of cooperation was discussed during those negotiations.

The Head of State also stressed that he is determined to carry out reforms in the country and to fight corruption. This requires a parliament and a government that would enjoy the trust of citizens.
