Agrarian Policy Ministry launches campaign to inform Ukrainians about farmer support programs

Acting Agrarian Policy and Food Minister Olha Trofimtseva stated this on Thursday at a press conference at Ukrinform.

"Information is a key element. Informing about existing programs, informing about the possibilities of support, informing about certain steps that farmers need to take to receive the funding [within support programs], all this is extremely important for these programs to function," said Trofimtseva.

She also stressed the importance of conducting such information campaigns in the regions where the agrarian business is located.

"I am extremely pleased that our European colleagues, our partners - SAFPI project , supported our idea of creating mobile information centers in the regions, holding educational trainings that had been already launched yesterday,” said Trofimtseva, adding that such information campaign could yield positive results.
