Kyiv mayor says Podilsko-Voskresensky Bridge will be opened in 2020

Road traffic on the Podilsko-Voskresensky Bridge is to be opened by the end of next year, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has said.

He said this live on the Priamy television channel, according to the press service of Kyiv City State Administration.

"Our task is to launch road traffic on the Podilsko-Voskresensky Bridge by the end of next year. Residents of Troieshchyna are waiting for this," Klitschko said.

According to him, the next stage will be the construction of the subway line to Troieshchyna.

In addition, over the next two years, Kyiv plans to complete the construction of two new stations of the Syretsko-Pecherska line of the subway - Mostytska and Prospekt Pravdy.

Klitschko also noted that work on the construction of the Shuliavsky overpass was being conducted according to schedule.

"Our plans are to open traffic on the new Shuliavsky overpass by the end of this year," he said.
