NBU revokes banking license of Vernum Bank

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has revoked the banking license of JSC Vernum Bank, the central bank’s press service has reported.

“Pursuant to Board Decision No.335-rsh dated May 14, 2019, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has revoked the banking license of Vernum Bank,” reads the report.

The NBU noted that the bank decided to voluntary terminate its banking activities without losing the status of a legal entity.

JSC Vernum Bank is the seventh bank that has taken such a decision. The NBU has already revoked the licenses of JSC BM Bank, PJSC DV Bank, PJSC Commercial Bank Finansovyi Partner, PJSC Apeks-Bank, PJSC Industrial and Financial Bank, and PJSC Credit Optima Bank under the same procedure.
