Over UAH 57 bln of VAT reimbursed to businesses in January-April 2019

The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (SFS) reimbursed UAH 57.2 billion worth of value added tax (VAT) to taxpayers in January-April 2019, which is UAH 13.6 billion more than in the corresponding period in 2018, according the SFS press service.
"In January-April 2019, UAH 57.2 billion worth of VAT was reimbursed to taxpayers, which is 31.2% or UAH 13.6 billion more compared to the relevant period of the previous year. UAH 43.6 billion worth of VAT was returned to taxpayers in January-April 2018,” reads the report.
The State Fiscal Service also reported on the growth of average monthly amount of VAT reimbursement. In particular, the average monthly amount of VAT reimbursed in 2019 grew to UAH 14.3 billion from UAH 11 billion in 2018.
In April 2019, UAH 11.8 billion worth of VAT was reimbursed to taxpayers.
