Finance Ministry’s delegation participates in EBRD business forum

As part of the Annual Meeting and Business Forum of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), a delegation of the Ukrainian Finance Ministry plans to meet with the EBRD president, the World Bank vice president and the designated assistant secretary of the U.S. Treasury for International Finance, according to the Ukrainian ministry’s press service.

"Today the Finance Ministry’s delegation begins its work at the EBRD Annual Meeting and Business Forum, which is held in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This year's theme is Connecting Economies for Stronger Growth. The Finance Ministry’s delegation will hold a number of meetings with international partners, in particular, with President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Suma Chakrabarti, World Bank Vice President for the Europe and Central Asia region Cyril Muller, Acting Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for International Finance and Development Geoffrey Okamoto,” reads the report posted on the ministry’s Facebook page.

The event attracts senior government officials, leading financial and corporate executives, environmental specialists and entrepreneurs large and small – as well as representatives of civil society organizations and the international and regional media. It provides a showcase for investment opportunities and a forum for informed debate.
