Ukraine produces almost 2.5 mln tonnes of coal in April

In April 2019, Ukraine produced almost 2.5 million tonnes of coal, which is 2% less than planned.
This has been reported by the Coal Miners Union of Ukraine with a reference to the data provided by the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry.
"In April 2019, coal mining enterprises of Ukraine of all forms of ownership produced 2,466,500 tonnes of coal. The plan was fulfilled by 98%," reads the report.
In particular, the mines subordinated to the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry produced 313,600 tonnes of coal, which makes up 98% of the plan, or 6,384 tonnes less than the target plan.
