Gas reserves in Ukraine’s underground storage facilities grow up to 9.4 bcm

In April 2019, Ukraine increased gas reserves in underground storage facilities by 659.1 million cubic meters.
As of April 30, they reached 9.4 billion cubic meters, the press service of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine reported.
"Ukraine continues to accumulate gas in underground gas storage facilities to go through the next heating season. The gas volumes in underground storage facilities in April increased by 659.1 million cubic meters. As of April 30, they amounted to 9.4 billion cubic meters," the report says.
In April 2018, there were 8.4 billion cubic meters of gas in underground storage facilities.
As reported, Ukraine plans to accumulate about 20 billion cubic meters of gas to ensure the stable heating season of 2019-2020.
