Lviv International Airport sees twofold increase in passenger flow in January-April 2019

Lviv Danylo Halytskyi International Airport saw an increase in passenger flow by 51.9% in January-April 2019 compared with the relevant period last year, according to a report posted on the airport’s official Facebook page.
“In January-April 2019, passenger traffic grew to 524.6 thousand passengers, which is 51.9% more compared with the relevant period last year (345.4 thousand passengers)," reads the report.
The number of flights totaled 5,081, which is 27.9% more compared with the corresponding period last year (3,974).
In April 2019, 155.2 thousand passengers used air services, which is 48.2% more compared with April 2018 (104.7 thousand passengers).
Also, the number of flights made up 1,475 in April 2019, which is 30.6% more compared with April 2018 (1,129).
As Ukrinform earlier reported, Ukrainian airports’ passenger flows grew by 21.8% in Q1 2019, compared with the relevant period in 2018, and made up 4.417 million passengers.
