Govnt should exert every effort to keep economic stability – prime minister

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said this on the TV Channel Inter on Friday, the Governmental portal reported.

"The challenge is to ensure stability and decision-making in order to continue our work. The elections are over, the economy is growing, the currency is stable. We have withstood the competition," Groysman said.

According to the prime minister, Ukraine is facing a number of challenges and is bearing heavy financial burdens due to the repayment of debts of previous periods. "But I focus on maintaining stability," he stressed.

The Government has to exert every effort to maintain economic stability and to implement the decisions that are already obvious within the framework of the reforms being pursued. It concerns new roads, medicine, education, decentralization, etc.

"I will fight for Ukraine's success," Groysman said.
