Naftogaz continues talks on cooperation with China’s Sinosure

“Yesterday Chairman of the Executive Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine Andriy Kobolev met with President of the China Export and Credit Insurance Corporation Sinosure, Mr. Wang Tingke," reads the report.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the cooperation between the two corporations.

"Our team will continue to work on attracting foreign investments and credit financing to increase gas production and develop renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. Cooperation in this direction with Chinese corporations is very promising for Naftogaz group and Ukraine as a whole,” Kobolev said.

As earlier reported, NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine and China Export and Sinosure Corporation signed a memorandum of understanding regarding a USD 1 billion insurance quota, which enables loans and foreign direct investments from Chinese corporations and financial institutions.
