State Fiscal Service: UAH 45 bln reimbursed to businesses in January-March 2019

Ukraine's State Fiscal Service (SFS) reimbursed UAH 45.4 billion worth of value added tax (VAT) in January-March 2019, the SFS press service reported.
"In January-March 2019, the State Fiscal Service reimbursed UAH 45.4 billion worth of VAT to taxpayers. Compared to the relevant period last year, the amount of compensation grew by 34.8%, or by UAH 11.7 billion. UAH 38 billion worth of VAT was returned to taxpayers in January-March 2018," the report says.
The State Fiscal Service also reported on the growth of average monthly amount of VAT reimbursement. In particular, the average monthly amount of VAT reimbursed in 2019 grew to UAH 15 billion from UAH 11 billion in 2018.
In March 2019, UAH 12.6 billion worth of VAT was reimbursed to taxpayers, which is 25%, or UAH 2.5 billion, more than in March 2018.
