Deposit Guarantee Fund repays UAH 3.25 bln to Finance Ministry ahead of schedule

The Deposit Guarantee Fund of Ukraine repaid UAH 3.25 billion to the Finance Ministry. The repayment of the loan was ahead of schedule, the Fund’s press service reports.
“On March 14, 2019, the Deposit Guarantee Fund repaid UAH 3.25 billion on bills to the Finance Ministry, which was ahead of schedule. In January 2019, the Fund fully paid off loans to the National Bank of Ukraine," the statement reads.
The Deposit Guarantee Fund also noted that it was the second time when it repaid its debt obligations to the state ahead of schedule. In 2018, the Fund paid off UAH 1 billion to the Finance Ministry.
