Government approves amendments to Tax Code on local taxes and fees

The relevant decision was approved at a government meeting on Wednesday, March 13, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

The document introduces amendments to the Tax Code to improve the administration of local taxes and fees, as well as introduce a unified form of information on the rates and benefits of local taxes and fees, and provide information to regulatory authorities in electronic form for further automation and filling the State Fiscal Service website.

The draft law "On Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine for Improving the Administration of Local Taxes and Fees" was developed by the Finance Ministry to implement sub-clause 3 of clause 10 of the Action Plan For Implementation of the Strategy for Reforming the Public Finances Management System for 2017-2020 approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, and sub-clause 272 of paragraph 3 of Section II of the Government Priority Action Plan for 2018, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
