Ukraine's economy growing 13 quarters in a row – President Poroshenko

President Petro Poroshenko has said that the economy of Ukraine has been growing for 13 quarters in a row.
He stated this during the forum “From Energy Efficiency to Energy Independence" in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"The government has ensured the recovery of economic growth, which has been observed for13 quarters in a row," Poroshenko said.
He added that Ukraine's economic growth in 2018 reached 3.4%, a record figure for the past seven years.
As Ukrinform reported, annual consumer inflation slowed down to 8.8% in February 2019 from 9.2% in January 2019. In 2018, inflation was 9.8%, which is the best figure for the first time since 2013.
