Passenger flow in Boryspil International Airport grows

In February 2019, the passenger flow in the Boryspil International Airport totaled 793,400 passengers, up 16.4% compared with February 2018. 

As avianews.com reports with reference to the airport’s press service, 724,000 people became passengers of international flights (up 17.3%), while 69,400 passengers traveled by air within Ukraine (up 7.1%).

In February 2019, 6,683 flights were operated to and from the Boryspil International Airport, up 7.8% compared with February 2018. This number includes 5,788 international flights (up 9.3%) and 895 domestic flights (down 1.3%).

In addition, it is noted that in January-February 2019 the total passenger flow in the Boryspil International Airport amounted to 1,690,600 people, up 14.9% compared with January-February 2019.

Within this period, 1,541,200 people became passengers of international flights (up 15.6%), while 149,400 people were passengers of domestic flights.

In January-February 2019, the number of flights increased by 8.5% up to 14,250. including 12,306 international flights (up 9.5%), and 1,944 domestic flights.
