Government cancels over 1,200 regulatory documents as part of deregulation - Groysman

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has amended or abolished more than 1,200 regulatory documents as part of deregulation reform.
Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said this at a government meeting on March 6, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"In general, we either amended or abolished more than 1,200 regulatory documents," said Groysman.
According to him, these documents hampered the development of business and were a mechanism for corruption.
The prime minister noted that as part of deregulation, the Cabinet of Ministers carries out an audit of all regulatory acts, many of which have been in force since the time of the USSR.
Groysman also assured that the Cabinet of Ministers will continue to actively work on deregulation so that to ease conditions for starting and doing business.
