The Deposit Guarantee Fund last week sold insolvent banks' assets worth almost UAH 203.81 million, the fund's press service reports.
“Last week the assets of 25 banks, which are in the management of the Fund, were sold for UAH 203.81 million,” the report says.
In particular, UAH 119.50 million was received from the repayment of fund creditors' claims, UAH 82.56 million from the sale of main banks' assets. Also, UAH 0.32 million was obtained from the direct sale of banks’ property and UAH 0.66 million from the sale of accounts receivable. Assets of “securities/corporate rights” group were sold for UAH 0.54 million, coins and metals were sold for UAH 0.07 million, and other assets (shortfalls, intangible assets etc) for UAH 0.16 million.
As reported, the Fund last week planned to sell insolvent banks' assets for a total sum of UAH 5.332 billion.
