Mykolayiv region can increase exports of finished food products from the current 4.3 percent up to 20-25 percent.

"Ukraine is already among the three major grain exporters in the world. Why don’t we start to process the products and export the finished products? Mykolayiv region needs no advice on this matter. I am sure that current 4.3 percent of finished food products in the region's export can grow up to 20-25 percent," President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said during a working visit to Mykolayiv region on March 4, where he attended a meeting of the Mykolayiv Region Development Council, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

He also noted that he personally, the Government and the Parliament were ready to help Mykolaiv region in achieving this goal.
