Ukraine expects to join ENTSOG by 2025

"Our ambitious goal is to join the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Gas (ENTSOG). The institutional integration is expected to be completed by 2020, while the complete integration - by 2025," Deputy Energy and Coal Industry Minister of Ukraine Natalia Boiko said at the 10th Ukrainian Energy Forum, the press service of the Ministry reports.

According to Boiko, the measures on the implementation of the EU regulations in the field of network codes in the gas sector are planned to be taken in this direction.

The deputy minister noted that Ukraine's integration into the EU’s energy markets is a prerequisite for achieving the initial goals in reforming the energy sector, which will create the necessary conditions for energy security and economic growth of Ukraine.
