Ukrainian apple exports to United Arab Emirates to grow monthly

In the 2018-2019 season, Ukraine can export about 200 containers of apples to the United Arab Emirates, while the volume of supplies will grow on a monthly basis.
Head of the Ukrainian Fruit and Vegetable Association Fedir Rybalko made a corresponding statement at the GulFood exhibition held in Dubai, the UAE, the press service of the Association reports.
"According to my estimations, Ukraine in 2018-2019 season can export about 200 containers of apples to the UAE, while the volume of supplies will grow on a monthly basis. And next season we will be able to talk about further growth of exports based on the gained experience. Not only the UAE but also Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, and Egypt show considerable interest in the Ukrainian apples due to their excellent taste properties and competitive price," Rybalko said.
