The investments that are now coming to Ukraine lay a solid foundation for the future and contribute to the integration of our country to Europe and the increase in wages of Ukrainian workers.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said this in his speech at the opening of Kharkiv Regional Philharmonic Hall after reconstruction, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"The investments that are coming to Ukraine provide a solid foundation for the future ... I want to see a high integration into Europe and high wages in Ukraine. And Ukraine will cease to be a cheap-labor country," Poroshenko said.

He noted that he had arrived at the opening of the Philharmonic Hall after the celebration of the 85th anniversary of JSC Turboatom, during which contracts for considerable sum of money between Ukrainian and foreign enterprises were signed.

"The money will come to Kharkiv. And there will be orders. And this is the policy of the state," the president said and added that the growth of industrial production would be ensured.
