Poroshenko: Export of Ukrainian goods to United States doubles

Over the past five years, the exports of Ukrainian goods to the United States have doubled, while the imports have grown by one billion dollars.

 “In 2018, the exports of Ukrainian goods to the United States grew by over 25 percent, and have almost doubled over the past five years. The imports increased from $1.9 billion to $2.9 billion,” President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said during the Annual Members Appreciation Reception at the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The President stressed that those figures stood for quite specific and ambitious projects. According to him, the cooperation has been strengthened in nuclear energy, coal industry, and transport.
